getting prepared

Ok, so I bought a bucket of chalk today.
I scouted out my first location - it's a brick wall painted green right down the street from me.
And I've picked out ten quotes as contenders - I may use one, I may use them all over time. I may pick multiple locations. Who knows. The not knowing is part of the fun.
Now I just need to sneak out at the dead of night when no peeping eyes will spot me and do the deed ;-)

And here are the quotes so far...next time I post them they'll be photographed in chalk on the wall.

"Be the change that you wish to see in the world."
—Gandhi

"We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars."
— Oscar Wilde

"Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple."
— Dr. Seuss

"Everything you can imagine is real."
— Pablo Picasso

"A little nonsense now and then, is cherished by the wisest men."
— Roald Dahl

"Little by little, one travels far"
— J.R.R. Tolkien

"I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul."
— William Ernest Henley

"Hope is a waking dream."
— Aristotle

"Dream as if you will live forever; Live as if you will die today."
— James Dean

"to thine own self be true."
— William Shakespeare

project #1 chalk quotes

I'll be working on my first project over the next couple of weeks.
First step - collect some quotes.
Second step - find a location.
Third step - start chalking.

Chosen quotes and pictures to come...
